Before you taste
Caring for your cakes
Your cakes arrive frozen so they reach you in perfect condition. Three small steps stand between you and the tasting.
-
Thaw
Leave them wrapped. Three hours in the fridge, or about one hour at room temperature.
-
Unwrap
Tear the circle sticker at the collar's edge along its centre perforation, then lift the collar away — far easier while still cold than once softened.
-
Taste
Best at room temperature, when the buttercream has softened and the flavours have opened up.
Presented undressed, by design.
Each cake is left bare so you can see the crumb, the layers and the filling exactly as they will be in your finished cake.
